Pet Stores have overpriced, poorly-bred dogs from puppymills.
You can get a dog from a GOOD breeder, but those are hard to find these days…
Shelters all the way. <3 I got my best friend there.

they actually are not mean at all i hadone and he was the nicest most playfull dog ive ever met…i was in 3rd grade when i got him and he pased away just last year but he was amazing

i have a golden lab …
i have a golden lab cross retriever. She’s 11, which is really old. (well, at least old) and shes never bitten anyone in her life! shes such a sweetie! great breed and great swimmers but the need an average amount of exercise and a good garden. not too large. brilliant with children of all ages and very friendly. putting a microchip in your dog or puppy, (dont worry it doesnt hurt them!) is a good idea too, its for their own good.

Don’t get a puggle …
Don’t get a puggle from a shop or breeder. Good breeders don’t make mixed dogs. Adopt a mix from a shelter, or get a purebred from a GOOD breeder.

This is a good …
This is a good video, but there should be a video on proper breeding.
For example, good breeders DON’T breed for profit, and always show their purebred, registered dogs in conformation, agility, etc before breeding them. Good breeders don’t only rely on their own opinion, or the vet, before producing more puppies. They discuss things with other good breeders and attend dog shows to ask judges’ opinions and get the facts from them.

pugs are A LOT of …
pugs are A LOT of work, constant ear and eye cleaning, plus respiratory problems. But they are an AMAZING breed i <3 mine xDD

Entertaining thoughts here. Are you optimistic this is the accurate way to look at it though? My own personal experience is that everyone should pretty much live and let live because what one person thinks just — another person simply does not. Individuals are going to do what they want to do. In the end, they always do. The most we can wish for is to highlight a few things here and there that hopefully, allows them to make just a little better informed decision. Otherwise, great post.
