Building Trust
To set your dog up for success, create a bond of trust between you and him or her. You want to begin by providing all the basics for a healthy dog, like food and shelter, good excercise and fun time, and also love and encouragement (also known as affection). You can know that your dog will look up to you, respect and love you, and above all: trust you. Because he won't be worried about if he's going to be yelled at or be scared around you, he'll have the rest under control!
Training your dog correctly has the potential of being a lot of fun if you choose. It's such a great way for you to get out of the house and explore the world together building a rich bond between the two of you. This can really deepen the trust your dog has for you.
